Brittani Booker does a wonderful job turning her grandmother's life into a story. She uses excellent detail explaining the time period and regions when her grandmother grew-up and lived. It was a good passage to read going into Task Two, it should help those students that are having issues developing a story out of the material they get from their subject.
Questions to ask:
-What was the state of the country when you grew up?
-Did you grow up in a rural or city area?
-How important was education doing that time period?
-What would you like to do over again?
-As you got older, how did you education benefit you?
-What was your priority as an adult, homemaker or provider?
